The controller decides, alone or jointly with others, on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, contact details, etc.).
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal email is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
As a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of a data protection violation. The competent supervisory authority is the data protection officer of the German federal state in which our company is based. The following link provides a list of data protection officers and their contact details: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party. This is provided in a machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
Right to information, rectification, restriction, deletion
Within the scope of applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin, its recipients and the purpose of data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification, restriction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time using the contact details listed in the imprint regarding this and any further questions on the subject of personal data.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. This means data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar and the padlock symbol.
Data transfer when concluding a contract for the purchase and shipping of goods
Personal data is only transferred to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract. Third parties may, for example, be payment service providers or logistics companies. There is no further transfer of data unless you have expressly consented to it.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Payment processing via Stripe
Our website uses the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland, to process payments. Data processing when using the cancellation button
The "Cancel contract" button opens an online cancellation form. There we collect the data required to process your cancellation: your full name, the order number and item description of the affected contract, and an email address for the confirmation of receipt.
Purpose of processing: identifying the contract, processing your cancellation, and sending the legally required confirmation of receipt.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (fulfilment of pre-contractual/contractual obligations) and Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR (fulfilment of legal obligations arising from the consumer right of withdrawal).
Retention period: We store the details of your cancellation for as long as necessary to process it, and afterwards for the duration of commercial and tax-law retention obligations (generally up to ten years under §§ 147 AO, 257 HGB).
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter when completing your order, we use your email address (and your name, if provided) to send editorial content about Moga Mobo. Sign-up uses a double opt-in process: your consent only takes effect once you confirm via the link in the confirmation email. Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link that lets you opt out at any time with one click.
Purpose of processing: sending the newsletter to people who have expressly consented to it.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Retention period: until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, we initially keep your email address on a suppression list to prevent accidentally contacting you again.
