As part of the Comic Salon Erlangen, Moga Mobo showed the 'Greatest Hits' exhibition at the Bongartz record store. For it, they asked 100 illustrators to turn a song — without any text — into a single black-and-white page within a fixed grid.

2019 — The comic exhibition 'The Eternal Flesh' is an artistic survey of the raw material of life. In contemporary comic reportages, the three Moga Mobo artists document personal impressions from real encounters with a wide range of people involved with meat.

Comic Culture Clash

20 conflicts fought out on the drawing board by 40 comic artists

Comic Culture Clash was created in 2016. In collaboration with Epidermophytie, we had 40 comic artists fight out 20 conflicts on the drawing board. The result: a 264-page anthology presented at the taz café, an exhibition and considerable media coverage. The project won the ICOM special award.

"The battle of the Heftchen" — 20 teams, over 250 comic artists

In 2012, together with Epidermophytie, we challenged the German comic scene to the Comic Clash. 26 comic teams each produced a booklet on the theme 'The Meaning of Life'. The highlights were the award ceremonies, live drawing battles and a comic market at the Comic Salon Erlangen.

Visions of the city of the future by 16 artists from Southeast Asia and Germany

In 2012, Moga Mobo created the comic blog Morgenstadt. Over three years, 16 artists from Southeast Asia and Moga Mobo drew visions of a sustainable city of the future. The project, run in four languages, was accompanied by a catalogue and a pop-up exhibition in Taipei, Seoul, Helsinki and Berlin.

Comic pioneers on the last island of communism

In 2009 we travelled to Cuba as comic pioneers and explored the history and scene of Cuban comics. Together with local artists, we published the first comic book outside of Cuba — the pages were smuggled out of the country via diplomatic mail.

We are big in Japan

In 2006, in collaboration with the Japanese artist group Nou Nou Hau, we created the exhibition Kugelblitz. Supported by the Goethe-Institut and the German Federal Cultural Foundation, it was shown in Tokyo and then toured Germany.
